We're proud to offer our students a safe space where they can pick up the skills to become confident, strong and bright. We're all about giving them the space, time, inspiration and tools to let their unique qualities shine.
We're firm believers that, in the right learning environment, everyone can reach their dreams, big or small.
When our students discover what they're passionate about and their purpose in life, their inner beauty just naturally glows. It's that authenticity that makes them stand out. We're not into moulding them into someone else. We want our students to embrace their uniqueness and express themselves in their own real way. That’s when they really shine bright.

Petit Bebe Stars
from 18 months + carer
Petit Bebe Star currently has one class for children 18 months & old + their carer. This class is called Twirltime as our little dancers just love to twirl, giggle and swirl as they attend their weekly class.
Under your guidance and the guidance of your dance teacher, your dancer will build their confidence to safely experiment with new movement and take their first steps of independence. Through enchanting storytelling, watch how your dancer will be engaged in a supportive and enchanting learning experience.
It's also important to celebrate each little win and progress made by the children, as this can help to build their confidence and motivate them to continue learning and exploring new movements. Both the teachers and grown ups in class will help celebrate each new win.
Twirltime classes are a great opportunity for young children to take their first steps into the world of ballet and dance in an enchanting and positive way.

Twirltime classes offer a wonderful opportunity for young dancers to learn and explore the world of dance while also bonding with their grown up. The emphasis on adult participation and guidance is important, as it can help create a positive and supportive environment for all dancers in the class.
The focus on routine and structure is also valuable, as it can help young dancers feel more comfortable and confident in their abilities. Exploring different themes throughout the year can help keep the classes fresh and engaging, while also providing opportunities for dancers to learn about different styles and techniques.
It's important to note the safety measures in place, such as no photos or videos during class time. This can help ensure that all children and adults in the class feel comfortable and respected. Bringing water bottles into class is a great idea, as it can help keep dancers hydrated and focused. Please ensure that children are not walking around with water or food.

Children are guided through a program which has been specially devised for their young bodies and their ability. The class structure combines mime and imagination, discovering and developing basic skills whilst gaining poise, posture, grace and all the fundamental basics of classical ballet.
Term themes will assist in allowing the children to feel more confident in their growing abilities and appreciation of dance and music. Our 45 minute classes incorporates movement, exercises, games, music, dance, counting, rhythm, characterisation and drama to develop each child’s motor skills, coordination, confidence, creativity and musicality. Individuality is encouraged as the child’s confidence is nurtured as his or her physical skills develop; reinforcing right & left, song & dance, working with others, prop work, ribbons and instruments.
From around 3 years old we offer classes for children who are ready to be separated from their carer. If your child is not yet ready for separation from you we suggest they start in our Twirltime class.
This is an exciting age group to teach. Children in this level are often leaving their carer for the first time in a formal situation. Children get excited quickly and have fantastic imaginations. Whilst our classes at this level are still fun we need structure and a few rules to ensure that our dancers have a safe and enjoyable experience. This is also an age that children’s personalities are starting to come to the fore and they are seeking new experiences and challenges. In this level we also introduce tap dancing. Our dancers love making music with their feet!
In this level we offer in house exams in September with Miss Bianca as the examiner
A class designed to get that pre-schooler experimenting with movement and music. Your little one will love singing, dancing and performing through this 15 minute class.
Children in this class will have additional performance opportunities.
During March/April we hold a musical theatre performance. Every second year we will hold a Christmas Musical.

Bebe STARS
5 - 8 years
Depending of the amount of dancing your child has been exposed to in their preschool years, most beginning school aged children enter our Primary class. In these classes we introduce ATOD and RAD syllabi. This lets us infuse our classes with some different exercises and we also really start to develop appropriate techniques and expose students to the language of ballet in these age ranges.
Children in this age group have the opportunity to participate in multiple performances and exams. Depending on the venue students in this age group can also attend 15 minute "Musical Stars" classes as well as 2 hour Saturday or Sunday STARS classes. These classes are for children 5-8 years old who are ready to enter the dance space independently with their dance friends and teachers. Parents and carers do not watch this level class.
If you would you like to watch your child dance we recommend they start in our Twirltime level.

There are so many exciting developments with our Rising Stars as they start to elevate their understanding and learning. Our Rising Stars stay in this level for a minimum of 4 years with more class options as classes become separated based on dance styles
Some of the most exciting aspects for students in Rising Stars is the transition to the Dusty Rose uniform, the introduction of barre work in ballet class and the invitation to join our A Star Concert
For those seeking an extra challenge we offer Elite classes. These non- performance sessions focus on elevating students knowledge, training and understanding of dance, with the added opportunity to sit dance exams.
Classes are separated more based on style
Our students continue to develop their ballet technique in an age appropriate manner. We combine ATOD (Australian Teachers of Dancing) and RAD (Royal Academy of Dancing) syllabus into our classes. Classes are more formal and are divided into Barre, Centre Practice, Adage and Allegro.
We offer ATOD Ballet exams in May/June and our Spring Gala Performance in October.
Tap and Jazz are combined into one class.
Tap is best described as "musical feet". Tap is a form of dance where dancers use their feet as percussive instruments. Tap Shoes are worn with metal plates on the toe and heel to assist in making the tap sounds. Tap is great for fostering rhythm in dancers. We offer Tap exams and our Spring Gala Performance in October.
Jazz pulls from all dance styles mixing them together to create a high energy style that knows no boundaries. Jazz is most often set to up beat popular songs of the time. Jazz shoes are worn with a leather split sole allowing the dancers foot more freedom to bend and move. Due to the upbeat music, power packed moves and limitless style, it isn’t hard to see why this is the most popular dance style! We offer Jazz exams and our Spring Gala Performance in October.

Our shooting stars embrace added responsibilities and newfound freedom. They flourish under the nurturing guidance of their mentors. The bonds of friendship among our students, as well as the connection with our teachers, is strong and adds more depth and dimension to our dancer’s journey.
