Due to one off circumstances such as illness, a holiday or school commitment, there may be an occasion when your dancer misses their usual class. Terms and Conditions state that your child is entitled to a catch up class within the same term that they missed their class. However, a Notification of a make up class is required to ensure the duty of care of all dancers is maintained and that the teacher of the make up class is aware that your child is coming.
Please note that it is the parents/caregivers role to organise the notification of the makeup class and NO refunds, discounts or credits are given for these missed classes. The Parent must complete the online form no later than 24 hours AFTER their missed class. Notification of the catch up class must be made at least 24 hours BEFORE the class. Classes are held on public holidays, however venues and times may change slightly so please check newsletters and emails regarding public holiday classes as NO refunds or discounts or credits are given for these missed classes. If you cannot attend a public holiday class, please fill in the Notification of a make up class to arrange a catch up class for your dancer.
In rare circumstances, classes need to be cancelled by A*Dance. In this instance, a make up lesson will be organised by A*Dance, or the parent, or a credit can be applied to the next term fees. Notification of this is made through SMS and emails in the hope that everyone receives this information as quickly and as easily as possible.
